1. I believe that media is very important in my life. My dream career is a form of media. I also use media in my everyday life. I have grown up with it my whole life and probably could not live with out it.

2. Only one type of media do I feel passionate about, and it is photography. I just love how you can capture the perfect moment and be able to keep it forever with a photograph, or even keep it on a computer and edit it to make it look the way that you want. I also like the Internet, but I am not passionate about it. It's important to me in a different way because it allows me to keep in touch with my friends and family in an easier way. I am also able to play my favourite game which you can not really play without Internet. I guess that music is also important to me, because sometimes if I am in a bad mood, a happier song can cheer me up. I also like celebrating happy moments with music and it makes doing boring things like chores much better when the music is really loud going through the whole house.

3. I like most of our modern popular culture. I like the new technology that helps us communicate. An element of popular culture that I dislike is how iPods now have video cameras. I think that it's very unnecessary. You could just go an buy a camera, it would have much better quality and also take pictures. I use media for entertainment mostly, but also for practicing for a future career. I also use it for information, communicating, and shopping rarely.

4. Desert Island Choices

• One type of media that I enjoy is music. It's not my favourite, but I can still enjoy it on some days when I feel like listening to it. Some artist I like are Boys like Girls, Taylor Swift, Lights, Miley Cyrus, and The Fray. Some of my favourite songs right now are by these artists, and include Fifteen by Taylor Swift, Ice by Lights, How to save a life and You found me by The Fray and When I look at you by Miley Cyrus. My favourite instrument to hear is the piano, even though it sounds very depressing every song that is played on it. • Another type of media that I like is photography. This is definitely my favourite type of media. It speaks to me because of the fact that you can capture memories and things that are precious in life and be able to keep them forever. It is just beautiful to me. My favourite thing to photograph is flowers. I like that they are all unique and colourful.
• The third type of media that I enjoy is the Internet. I like how I am able to communicate with people that I'm not able to see often, or multiple people at the same time. I can also look up information that I need for school or life in general. I like using google especially to look up song lyrics that I can't seem to understand and it bugs me a lot, like to the extreme. :)
