Why The Fray are the Greatest Band Ever

I think that The Fray are the greatest band ever because they have meaningful song lyrics, get involved, and sound amazing live.

For their meaningful song lyrics, we have the song 'How to Save a Life'. The main singer, Isaac Slade, has mentioned that it is about a crack addicted teen he had met that committed suicide. Some lyrics include,
"As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came"
This is saying that he must have tried to help him choose a path to either die or get well, and the 2 possible answers that he will respond. It's a very sad song when you pay attention to all the lyrics.
This is probably my favourite song by them, out of all of them and is a definite must to listen to.

Another song that has meaningful lyrics is 'Never Say Never'. And yes, it is about love, BUT, the title says it all. Never say never, just don't. Anything is possible, you know? As long as it isn't ridiculous, like cats having babies with lemons or something...

Earlier, when I stated that they get involved I meant that they get involved with different things like charities like Text to Give. Text to Give is in collaboration with VH1 to raise money to benefit public schools in The Fray's hometown of Denver, Colorado.

The 'Save a Life' Campaign was started by the family of the boy who was written about in the song "How to Save a Life'. He died in a car accident when his blood alcohol level was higher than the legal limit. 'How to Save a Life' was the last song downloaded onto the boy's computer. The song was also played at his funeral. Isaac Slade worked with the boy at a camp and later wrote the song about him.

Now, one thing that makes an artist truly great, is if they sound amazing live, without the auto tune and corrections done to their voice. This is displayed here in 'Over my Head(Cable Car)'
They both sound good, unlike some artists that sound horrible live and are obviously only singers because they are forced to with Disney or because of their looks.
An example would be Selena Gomez, and even though this isn't about her, we need a comparison..
Point Proven.
